Would you weigh your faith on a scale, what would you estimate the weight to be? Maybe some would say an ounce, a pound, or even some would be so arrogant to say a literal ton.
Not even the weight of a mustard seed:
A single mustard seed is extremely light, weighing approximately 0.001 to 0.003 grams. They are very small, with roughly 15,000 to 20,000 seeds per ounce or around 529 seeds per gram. Their weight can vary slightly based on the type, such as yellow, brown, or black.
Do we trust in Jesus truly?
And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. – Matthew 17:20
How big and mighty of a christian do you feel now? Are you so strong and sure of your faith? Would it even come close to that 0.001 of a gram, would it hit 1 milligram?
Does it weigh that of a grain of salt? Does it match the weight of a single mosquito?
Are you moving mountains? Are you facing a crushing blow and still resilient and praising him for his victory in the midst if your losing battle? The army is running to get you and you are cornered… will the seas part for you or will God let you be overtaken?
Do you trust him with your future, with your very life? Does he Love you and care for you? Does he know the plans he has for you to prosper you and to push his will forward with your short breath of life?
Or is it by your own strength?
TRUST in the LORD with ALL your HEART, and LEAN NOT on YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING; in ALL YOUR WAYS submit to him, and HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT. – Proverbs 3:5-6
